CERTIFIED RUSSIAN TO ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS

First-class service with quick turnaround

If you need a translation certified in the UK, I will be happy to help. As a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists I am qualified to provide certified Russian to English translation of corporate and private documents for official use in the UK, most European countries as well as and many other English-speaking countries. Unlike many other European countries, the UK does not have a system of ‘sworn' translators. Certified translations in the UK are provided by members of the professional associations such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

My Russian certified document translations can be used for applications to the Home-Office (visas, passports, asylum), General Medical Council, General Dental Council, General Nursing and Midwifery Council, DVLA, Register Offices, UK universities, embassies and consulates, NARIC, hospitals and all other official UK organisations.

The Translator’s Certificate will contain the certification text, my contact information and my CIOL membership number; it will be signed and stamped.

Please the Royal Mail website for up-to-date prices.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATION REQUIREMENTS

Please note that translation certification requirements of different UK institutions, and especially those located abroad, vary greatly. You should always contact the institution you intend to submit the certified translations to before ordering a certified translation

Notarisation

Not always required in the UK

Unlike most countries of the former Soviet Union, most British authorities such as Home-Office, hospitals  or universities do not require the translations produced by the UK-based professional translator to be further certified by a notary. But, if your translated documents do need to be further notarised for their use at the Court of Law or for obtaining an apostille I can arrange an appointment with a notary and get my certified translation further legalised.

APOSTILLES AND LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS

If you wish I can provide document legalisation services in the UK, however you can easily cut out the agency cost by doing it yourself through submitting the original UK documents to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). You should be able to receive your documents with apostilles within a week and once you have them ready simply scan them and email them to me for their translation into Russian**.
